"From the moment I picked up this book I was addicted. The way the author wrote the characters was impeccable, she was able to truly bring them to life and you could feel their emotions coming through the page. Unlike alot of authors she showed true human reaction to the tribulations they encountered. The twists and turns within the story matched with the relatable scenarios kept me so invested I couldn't put it down!! The excitement, fear, love, creepiness, bravery...so many notable things. I can't praise this book enough.  And they way she tied in the title of the book to the story was a heartwrenching and unexpected turn that left you teary eyed, and yet smiling....just an incredible piece of work."

"Our Saving Grace was a very interesting and good read.  Once I started reading I could not put this book down. It was beautifully written and as I read I could play a movie through my head.  The characters personalities are very easy to relate to. They were also very easy to fall in love with. I truly hope that there will be a part two so I can see where the characters end up and how many more adventures they go through. I would 100% recommended this book."

"If you like chicken pot pie, read this book!

Okay, I'll admit this at the start. There is a scene in this book that includes chicken pot pie. It was so unexpected and caught me so completely off guard, that I laughed until I cried! Some people may not have the same reaction, but I loved it and laughing like that felt great. "Our Saving Grace" held my attention from the beginning to the end. Be sure to read the Epilogue, too! It's a must-read. This book made me laugh, cry, and even curse a bit. The interactions between Brady and Ace, Savannah's German Shepherd, were fun to envision. That's another great aspect of this book -- it was super easy to visualize the scenes as they unfolded. Savannah's times with Jason touched my heart, too. The author did an awesome job of bringing this story to life and carried it full circle, leaving no questions unanswered. The role that fate played in the lives of Brady and Savannah was beautifully illustrated and captured the title of the book perfectly. I will be looking for other books by J. R. Bloodsteel and I hope she will write a sequel to this one. I want to know what Brady, Savannah, Austin, and Ace will get into next.

"My mom (Priscilla T.) passed along your new book-Our Saving Grace-to me last weekend because I devour books and read as many as I can get.  Let me start by telling you that I absolutely detest romance novels.  I don't know exactly why, but I have never been able to stomach reading a typical romance plot.  But, this book was one of the most endearing "romantic" novels I have ever read.  I appreciate your detail-I felt as though I was living Savannah and Brady's lives myself.  And, the grace and endurance they each felt just continued to draw me in.  I read this book in every spare minute I had this past week!  It would almost hurt my feelings when I would have to put it down for a while.  I was that invested!  And each time they were faced with a particularly painful moment, I could feel it myself.  I cried many times throughout the book.  It really gave me a different perspective and I am going to try to put more "Savannah" in my behavior and try to push forward better throughout my future challenges in life.  And, to do exactly what you wrote at the end-Live life to the fullest."

There are no boring sections, and the reader finds themselves drawn in to the lives of the well rounded characters. In a world we now find ourselves, full of flash and bang, it is refreshing to be able to immerse oneself inward, the characters could be your neighbors. "A Romance With A Nice Crime Story As Well

I am no fan of romance but I am a crime fiction fan. I took a chance on this book and I definitely am glad I did so. Protagonist Savannah takes us on a journey through her eyes in what starts as remodeling an old house with her new landlord, Brady. Lots of twists, turns and revelations follow. This story has drama and action and heartbreak and inspiration and humor and wit and a little bit of everything. It's also a perfect read for the holidays time of year. I definitely recommend this gem of a book and look forward to reading more of J.R. Bloodsteel's work!"
